My favorite juicer recipes are simple. Some people like to add lots of items to one juice, but I prefer to create separate juices and keep the tastes separate. The one exception to this is the green juice I make – I vary the ingredients to make the strong taste of the greens a bit milder.
Like selecting which is the best juicer for you, choosing the best juice recipes for your needs is also dependent entirely on your personal preferences. Over time you learn what flavors you prefer and start to make more juices around those. Juices will also vary according to season for me, since I like to buy fresh produce that’s in season. So when it’s berry season, I’ll make some berry juices but I also have some year-round staples too.
Fresh Orange Juice
This is one of my staples, and I love having this for breakfast. All you need are fresh oranges. This juice is rich in Vitamin C as well as Potassium, Folate and Thiamine. You can read more here: http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/fruits-and-fruit-juices/1971/2
Carrot Juice
This is another staple for me, since carrots can be found year-round. This is a lovely sweet drinks, and is rich in beta-carotene, flavinoids and Vitamins A and K
Orange, Carrot and Ginger
Yes, I like mixing up orange and carrots to produce a nicely blended flavor. Ginger adds some zing and helps boost your immune system: http://nccam.nih.gov/health/ginger/
Watermelon Juice
One of the most refreshing juices, you’ll love it on a tiring day! Watermelon contains lycopene, antioxidants and Vitamins B and C: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watermelon#Nutrition
Green Juice
Spinach and kale make up the green component of this juice: the are rich in Vitamins A, B, C, E and K, as well as Calcium, protein, magnesium and other minerals:

To these, I tend add some milder vegetables such as cucumber or celery, as well as some mild fruits such as apples or pears. Many people like to start out with this recipe with only 20-30% greens, and then increase the greens percentage as they go along and get used to the taste. This is by far one of the healthiest juices out there!
Remember, when it comes to juicing, you shouldn’t let other people dictate what you do. You can find many recipe books and most of the best juicers come along with mini guides to some great recipes. When you first start juicing, experiment and find out what you love – and then make more of what you love!
